How do I download music?

Click on the pink download button that’s on the artist listen music page. If you can't download the file or if a music player pops up, please right click on the MP3 link and select “save to the target”.

 

 

 

 

How do I download ringtones?

You can download ringtones by going to the ringtone list page and hitting the download button. Right click on the MP3 link and select “save target as”. You can also download ringtones from the ringtone upload page if you are customizing a ringtone.

 

 

 

 

Can I send ringtones to an IPhone?

No. Not at this time we are working on a solution for the IPhone.

 

 

 

 

Is this a subscription based service?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! We like free stuff just like any other person does.

 

 

 

 

Is UWMixRadio really 100% totally free?
Yes. UWMixRadio is entirely free to sign up, make, and download ringtones from your pc and send them to your cell phone. Artists, however, do have the option to sell their music/ringtones to users.

 

 

 


What types of ringtone and music formats can I download?
We currently offer MP3, WAV, MP4 and M4R (IPhone) formats.

 

 

 

What makes UWMixRadio different from the other so called ringtone websites?
As far as we know, UWMixRadio is one of the first websites to allow users to create ringtones from dailymotion videos. We are also one of the first to allow users to create ringtones from artist’s music on Soundcloud, Bandcamp and Reverbnation. Not to mention users can create and customize ringtones from the artist’s music that’s on uwmixradio.com. When I click on one of the download links, the ringtone starts playing in my media player, how do I get it to save to my computer?
Some internet browsers work differently. The best way to truly save the file to your computer is to right click the download link and select "save as" or "save file as" and then you should see the save to folder screen for your computer.

 

 

 


I forgot my username or password, how can I retrieve it?
Go to the forgotten password page. Enter the email you used when you signed up with us and your login details will be emailed to you.

How do I download ringtones?
Currently we only offer ringtones in MP3, WAV, and M4R formats. Most phones use MP3 or WAV’s as ringtones, while IPhones use M4R. To download ringtones, right click on “save as” (sometimes Save Link As or Save Target As) the file type your phone supports from the ringtones page.

 

 

 


Do I need internet on my phone to send ringtones via email?
No. You only need to be able to send mms messages to receive ringtones via email.

 

 

 


What are the different ways to send ringtones to my phone?
You can send ringtones to your phone several different ways. Email and USB cables are a couple of options. You can also use the “Send to Phone” links that’s listed on the ringtone list page and on the ringtone upload popup pages.

How do I send ringtones to my phone via email?
Using email to send ringtones to your phone is free if you are able to send text messages with your phone. Standard messaging rates apply. Follow the these steps below to send ringtones to your phone via email:

Step 1) From your cell phone, send a text message to your email address in the # field.
Step 2) Hit reply on the email you’ve sent yourself. Attach the ringtone you downloaded earlier.
